Your responsibilities:

Team Leadership:

  • Lead and mentor a QA team, including delegating tasks, providing regular feedback, supporting professional growth, and fostering a collaborative and accountable team culture. 

  • Conduct regular 1:1s, support onboarding of new QA team members, and ensure sustainable workload and capacity management. 

Test Strategy & QualityOwnership: 

  • In alignment with the Program Manager – define and maintain test strategy and test plans aligned with project scope, timelines, and client expectations. 

  • Define quality gates, entry/exit criteria, and ensure effective execution of all testing levels (functional, regression, exploratory, UI/UX, UAT). 

  • In alignment with the Program Manager  – own QA processes, documentation standards, reporting, and traceability of test results. 

  • Monitor quality metrics and drive continuous improvement. 

Hands-on QA & Automation Support:

  • Perform hands-on testing activities when required, including manual functional, regression, exploratory, sanity, and smoke testing. 

  • Review requirements and user stories to ensure clear and testable acceptance criteria. 

  • Validate new features, systems, and software versions against specifications. 

  • Support test automation and CI/CD integration in collaboration with QA Automation Engineers, Developers, and DevOps teams. 

Defect Management & Collaboration:

  • Own the defect lifecycle, including triage, prioritization, retesting, and closure. 

  • Perform root cause analysis and communicate quality risks to stakeholders and clients. 

  • Act as the primary QA point of contact in sprint ceremonies and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (Dev, PO, PM, UX, DevOps). 

  • Ensure compliance with client and domain standards (e.g., ISO, GDPR, WCAG), when applicable. 

We are looking for you, if you have:

  • 3+ years of experience in manual testing within the software development lifecycle. 

  • Strong leadership skills, including the ability to mentor and develop team members, delegate effectively, and take ownership of quality outcomes. 

  • Strong knowledge of Jira and cloud-based applications. 

  • Experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) is an advantage. 

  • Independent, detail-oriented, and strong communication skills.
