Your responsibilities:
- Requirements Engineering & Backlog Management
- Technical Story Deconstruction: Pull high-level feature goals and architectural runway items down into granular, highly technical user stories and actionable development requirements.
- Backlog Co-Grooming & Refinement: Jointly own and manage the team backlog alongside the PO. Proactively flesh out the backlog prior to formal refinement sessions by drafting robust acceptance criteria, user scenarios, and data mappings.
- Subject Matter PO Delivery: Step up to autonomously act as the Product Owner/Proxy PO for specific technical domains or defined subject matter components to keep the development team moving efficiently.
- Technical Analysis & Architecture Collaboration
- System & Data Mapping: Map system workflows, data models, and API logic to ensure seamless integration across the technical stack.
- Architect & Vendor Collaboration: Work closely with the System Architect and external vendors to conduct technical assessments and lead technical discussions. Contribute to the solution definition together with the architects and test and validate the developed solutions by the vendors
- Cross-Team Connectivity: Act as the technical connector across different systems, components, and engineering teams to resolve dependencies.
- Agile Ceremonies & Daily Dev Support
- Daily Tactical Support: Serve as the immediate technical resource for the development team, answering complex functional, logical, and technical questions to maintain sprint velocity.
- Sprint Execution: Support the Scrum Master/RTE and PO during sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospective sessions.
- Quality Assurance & UAT: Write clear acceptance criteria and testing scenarios; drive and sign off on User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure delivered software meets technical specifications.
- Strategic PO Alignment & Business Analysis
- PO Proxy: Support the PO across daily mechanics; seamlessly step up to take on tactical PO roles and tasks when required.
- Data & Gap Analysis: Pull data and execute gap analyses on incoming business cases to validate feasibility before they enter the backlog.
- Prioritization Support: Organize, structure, and ready the backlog so the PO can effectively give final prioritization alignment.

We are looking for you, if you have:
- 5+ years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst / Consultant
- Experience in working in a technical environment alongside Solution/System Architects
- Has practical knowledge of Agile frameworks and methodologies (e.g. Scrum, SAFe)
- Experience with one or more diagramming, mockuping and UI design tools
- Has business domain knowledge of one or more of the following areas: commercial excellence, CRM, omnichannel marketing, marketing automation, analytics. Domain knowledge on social media, mobile messaging is a plus.
- Has the ability to quickly onboard onto new business domains.
- Can collaborate with different areas to perform Business Analysis activities (Requirements Elicitation and Analysis, Solution Design, Stakeholder Management, Quality Assurance, Process Improvement etc. )
- Exhibits soft skills typically required of a BA (i.e. listening, communication, negotiation, problem solving, decision making and critical thinking)
- Exhibits a Lean-Agile Mindset
- Exhibits intellectual curiosity, and has a strong passion for bringing value adding technology to the business.
