Transition Technologies MS has signed a contract with one of the largest arms companies in Poland. The contract concerns the creation of software compliant with the communication standard developed by NATO. The order will be an important element of key systems for Poland’s defence. As part of the project, we will be responsible for creating software modules compliant with the NFFI (NATO Friendly Force Information) standard. The NFFI protocol is a communication standard developed by NATO, enabling the exchange of information on the position and status of own forces (“blue force tracking”) in near real time. Its main task is to ensure the interoperability of command and tracking systems of the forces of various NATO member states and coalition partners – says Marcin Kubec, TTMS COO. The project will last about a year and a half. This is the twelfth contract in the defence sector acquired by TTMS since the beginning of the company’s operations. At the end of 2024, the company announced a contract for the NATO Standardization Office, won in a consortium with its sister company Transition Technologies Software and BREVCO Services, to implement an IT solution that will be used to manage the NATO terminology database. TTMS has many years of experience in implementing solutions for the defence sector and cooperation on NATO projects, and is distinguished by its knowledge of the specifics of the functioning of the armed forces. The company has been operating in the defence sector since 2016 and is one of the few Polish IT companies that have the appropriate security certificates and concessions allowing them to participate in arms tenders. In 2024, TTMS doubled the value of its order portfolio in the defence segment. TTMS is a member of the NATO Innovation Hub – an innovation center associating companies specializing in military projects and cooperating on research and development initiatives.

Transition Technologies MS (TTMS) is proud to announce our commitment to the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) – a globally recognized framework that helps companies define clear, science-based emissions reduction targets aligned with the goals of the Paris Agreement. Currently, together with other companies – including Bank Ochrony Środowiska, CCC, Comarch, Fideltronik Poland, Młyny Kapka, Mokate, Polenergia, Przedsiębiorstwo “Rol-Ryz”, Stock Spirits Group, Tele-Fonika Kable, and ZUP Emiter – Transition Technologies MS is awaiting official verification of its climate targets by SBTi. A recent report from ESGinfo highlights that Japan leads in SBTi adoption, while Poland remains at the bottom of the list. As a Polish-founded IT company with a growing global footprint, TTMS believes it’s time to change that narrative. By embracing SBTi standards, we are: Committing to measurable climate goals Increasing transparency in how we track and report emissions Setting an example for responsible innovation in the tech sector For us, sustainability is not just a checkbox — it’s a direction. SBTi compliance means holding ourselves accountable to the highest standards and actively contributing to a greener, more resilient global economy. This move follows our ongoing ESG commitments, including ISO 14001 certification, energy-saving initiatives across our offices, and responsible project lifecycle management for clients worldwide. In an era where climate risk is business risk, TTMS chooses to lead. We encourage more Polish companies to follow suit — because it’s the right thing to do.

On March 10-13, 2025, we conducted an audit of compliance with ISO 14001 and ISO 27001:2022 standards. “The audit ended positively, no non-conformities were identified and the team of auditors will recommend to TUV to issue a new certificate of compliance with ISO 14001 for the next 3 years and maintain the certificate of compliance with ISO 27001:2022” says Marcin Kraska COO-Quality at TTMS. The purpose of the audit, carried out by an independent and accredited certification body, was to: confirm the compliance of the organization’s management system with the audit criteria, i.e. the requirements of the indicated standards, defined processes and TTMS system documentation; assessment of the system’s ability to ensure the organization’s compliance with applicable legal regulations and contract terms; assessment of the effectiveness of the management system in the context of achieving the organization’s set goals. Maintaining ISO 27001 and ISO 14001 certification is crucial because it ensures compliance with the highest standards in information security and environmental management. Thanks to ISO 27001, TTMS guarantees its customers and business partners that their data and IT systems are adequately secured against threats, which strengthens trust and protects against cyber incidents. In turn, ISO 14001 certification confirms the company’s commitment to sustainable development, minimizing negative impact on the environment and compliance with ecological regulations, which is increasingly required by corporate customers and public institutions. Maintaining both management systems allows TTMS to compete effectively on international markets, especially in tenders and projects requiring compliance with specific standards. In addition, continuous improvement of management systems compliant with these standards affects operational efficiency, process optimization and reduction of business risk.
