Your responsibilities:
- Scope / (Content Leadership): Leads the design and construction of large-scale data architectures. Oversees and mentors junior engineers while driving technical excellence and setting standards across the team.
- Accountability/Problem Solving: Solves highly complex data engineering problems and troubleshoots intricate performance issues. Ensures that critical data infrastructure and systems remain highly scalable, secure, resilient, and efficient.
- Stakeholder Management: Liaises with senior leadership to align on data strategy and organizational needs. Guides and directs various technical teams and effectively influences the team’s architectural decisions.
- Impact/Strategy: Leads high-impact projects that significantly shape the organization’s data infrastructure. Develops long-term strategies for data architecture and contributes significantly to data governance initiatives.
- Complexity / (Product Size): Manages enterprise-level data systems and infrastructure. Designs and implements advanced data processing frameworks, scalable data warehouses, and data lakes.
- Business / Technical ability: Acts as an expert in multiple programming languages and Big Data technologies. Demonstrates a deep understanding of distributed systems, cloud data platforms, advanced ETL/ELT patterns, and data architecture best practices.
We are looking for you, if you have:
- Extensive experience leading the design, implementation, and construction of complex data engineering solutions and large-scale data architectures
- Proven track record of leading high-impact projects that shape enterprise-level data infrastructure and developing long-term data architecture strategies.
- Demonstrated experience contributing significantly to data governance and ensuring the resilience and security of critical data infrastructure.
Technical Skills
- Expert proficiency in multiple programming languages and Big Data technologies.
- Deep expertise in distributed data systems, cloud data platforms, and advanced ETL/ELT patterns.
- Proven capability to architect scalable data warehouses and data lakes, and to troubleshoot intricate system performance issues.
